KTP are proud to have installed their KT5000 wireless refuge system at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.
It was a pleasure for KTP to work with Jim Donnelly and Maintenance & Operations teams at Leicester City Football Club who have a very proactive approach to assisting their supporters with accessibly needs, ensuring the stadium is fully inclusive for everyone.
Unlike other wireless refuge systems available the KT5000 has full duplex speech capability and uses GSM technology, overcoming signal range and licensing issues encountered when using private mobile radio. There is also no requirement for ongoing and expensive OfCom site licences, which in certain cases can result in project deadline delays due to the time it takes for a licence to be processed.
The system provides supporters and stadium staff with emergency communication within the designated refuge areas. This enables the Security Team to quickly respond to any football stadium evacuation situations should they arise.
From initial enquiry to installation, KTP provided an excellent service and we have been pleased by the product and the ongoing support. The system provides our supporters & stadium staff with emergency communication within our designated refuge areas, this will enable our Security Team to quickly respond to any future emergency situations should they arise.
