Staffordshire County Council is the top tier local authority for the metropolitan county of Staffordshire in England. They have 62 councillors that sit on Staffordshire County Council.
Since 2003 we are proud to have been working closely with Staffordshire County Council, supporting them with their Access and Fire Safety requirements. This has included us supplying the Council with our existing range of Assisted Hearing Systems, including our market leading Microloop System and Fire Safety products.
Initially the Council requested that we carry out site surveys of all the Councils buildings in order that we could supply our Assisted Hearing Systems. This was to ensure that the Council were compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (now the Equalities Act). Over many years, we have also provided assistance with regards to the safe evacuation of persons with impairment in the event of an emergency.
We have achieved this by supplying our ChairMate product, Stairclimbers and our Fire Pager Alert Systems ensuring that should an emergency arise both visitors and staff can be evacuated safely.
With the supply of our Assisted Hearing Systems and Fire Evacuation products, we have been successful in assisting the Council with its responsibilities under the Equalities Act.
